The Duchess of Cambridge, 30, brought along her cocker spaniel puppy for a volunteer session with young scouts last Wednesday near the Anglesey, North Wales, home she shares with Prince William.

Kate has been quietly working with the Scouts Association, managing games and activities with the cubs. On this occasion, wearing a brown vest over jeans and rain boots, the Duchess walked through the woods with the Scotland Porthaethwy Menai Bridge branch on the camping excursion.
Some of the lucky scouts got to walk Lupo and hold his lead, but when the puppy was alone with Kate, he was free to go off-leash, his ears flopping in the wind. The two spent time cuddling together when Kate took a break by sitting on a tree stump.
"She's clearly getting a lot out of it," a local scouting source told PEOPLE last month. "Everybody's taken to her well."
